Our story since 1998

A home away from home

Esan Community Netherlands was officially registered in Amsterdam in 1998 with a clear vision: to create a welcoming home for Esan people while preserving the customs, traditions and values that define our identity.

Over the years, ECN has grown into a respected organisation connecting families, young people, professionals and elders through cultural celebrations, family programmes, youth development, community support and educational activities.

Our gatherings and social events have created lasting friendships and strengthened bonds among Esan families across the Netherlands. Today, ECN builds on that legacy through meaningful opportunities for connection, cultural pride and service.
